Hi all! Well, it has been quite some time since I last posted. I haven't really done my nails in a while, since I got too busy with other things, but I did try to take care of them in other ways by, filing and moisturizing regularly.
It was Chris' birthday a couple weeks ago, and we celebrated by going to the US - Panamá game at Sporting Park in Kansas City. Though we enjoyed ourselves, it was a long day. It was 96° and the sun was beating down on our section for three hours. I now have a shorts tan line on my legs lol. Good news though: we found out that a Fuddruckers is opening right next to Sporting Park, and I am super excited!
I finally decided to add some color to my fingertips, and tonight I went with New York Color Quick Dry Columbus Circle Crimson. I've used it before - it is a darker red creme that dries relatively fast. I used 3 coats in the picture below.
I felt that I needed a little more, so I decided to add 3 coats of Big City Dazzle, a NYC glitter top coat. It is a mix of blue and red/purple glitter, with even smaller silver flecks. Glitter payoff was good, but I wanted my nails to pop, hence the additional coats. It dries pretty quickly, but the only downside is that I can see it starting to get a little goopy :(
I really hope everyone has been having a great summer. It's hot and disgustingly humid in Kansas, and I am eternally grateful for air conditioning. I am already looking forward to winter!
