FingerPaints Monet Money + SinfulColors All About You

Hi all! I hope your week is off to a good start. My Monday was just like everyone else's - back to work (I don't normally work on Mondays). I was looking forward to doing my nails tonight. I've gotten into the bad habit of not wearing a top coat sometimes, so Pleasure Pier didn't last all that long (even though it's supposed to be Megalast, but don't get me started). I had no idea what to do, but I finally settled on Monet Money, which I've only used once.

Here is the final result, 2 coats of Monet Money, followed by one coat of Sinful's All About You.

FingerPaints Monet Money SinfulColors All About You

When I last used Monet Money, I think I just said I liked the color. I don't really think I took a close look at the formula, dry time, etc. Today, it seemed a little thick. The first coat was almost opaque, but patchy in some places. The second was fully opaque. Because it was thick, the brush held more polish than I wanted, so I did manage to flood my cuticles a little. Dry time was very slow, which was slightly disappointing, since FingerPaints polishes typically dry quickly. The first coat was still tacky and smudge-able, even after almost 10 minutes. The second was just as slow, so I waited some time before adding the coat of All About You.

All About You has a clear base with gold flakes. I think I said this recently, but polishes with clear bases seem to dry faster. I love this, because it can really add some sparkle to a creme, or can be used in a jelly sandwich. Coverage is pretty even.

Overall, I still love Monet Money. I added a couple drops of my trusty polish thinner (thank you, Sally Beauty!), and I expect it'll be better next time I use it!

    1. Thank you! All About You makes me want to have a fun night out haha. My thinner saved a lot of my polishes. Before blogging, I'd never heard of it, but it sure has made a few of my polishes usable again!
