I'm sorry I haven't been able to post these last couple of days! Chris and I have been busy with a pet DIY project that took over.
We decided that our bed is a little too high for the girls. After some research, a couple visits to Home Depot, and three days of building, we have successfully finished a dog ramp! We presented it to them about an hour ago and they're still getting used to it, so I hope that they'll be completely comfortable with it in about a week or so (with the help of some delicious treats)!
I'll be posting a new mani soon, so stay tuned!

In a New York Color Minute Quick Dry: Grand Central Station: Not So Grand
I don't have an extensive history when it comes to top coats. I bought Sally Hansen's Advanced Hard as Nails Strengthening Top Coat about a year ago on a whim, but never really used it. When I fell in love with nail polish a couple months ago, I decided I would try a different one. After reading rave reviews, I wanted to give Grand Central Station a try.

Wet n Wild Megalast: Through the Grapevine
New mani! It took me a little longer than expected to have a little "me time", but I finally found the time to post my new nails.
This was my first time using any polishes in Wet n Wild's Megalast line (thank you CVS for your B2G1 free sale!). Through the Grapevine is a gorgeous fuchsia creme and I absolutely love it. The formula was great - it wasn't runny or goopy, and it was very easy to apply. It was opaque in one coat, but I used two.

Nail Art and the FA Cup
Since I don't have a manicure on right now (I'll be doing one tonight), I thought I'd share some nail art from May.
To start off, I used SinfulColor's Basecoat. My thumb and middle finger were easy to do. I used SinfulColor's Ruby Ruby, a classic red jelly. I used a small brush from a set I bought at Walmart to do the cannon on my thumb, which is part of Arsenal's logo. The yellow ribbon was done with Sinful's Let's Meet. All simple, nothing complicated.

Hello!
I am new to the world of nail polish,
manicures, and nail care. I had occasionally given myself the odd manicure, but
after taking time to research and learn about techniques, I soon realized that
I was not taking care of my nails and hands the way I should be. I have learned
a lot from other people, and now I just want to share my journey with you!
