Nail Art: Tribeca Silver + Through the Grapevine

Hi all! I have something new for you today. I feel like I haven't done any nail art recently, so I decided to try something out tonight. The colors I chose for this look were New York Color Tribeca Silver and Wet n Wild Through the Grapevine.

This is the final result.

New York Color Quick Dry Tribeca Silver Wet n Wild Megalast Through the Grapevine

I first applied 2 coats of Tribeca Silver. The first coat was a little sheer, so a second was necessary. After that, I applied 1 coat of Sally Hansen Insta Dri Top Coat, followed by painters tape and Through the Grapevine. As you can see, I managed to mess up my index finger, but it doesn't look too bad (I think).

I've typically liked cremes/jellies more than any of the other types of finishes, but I find myself drawn more to glitters and shimmers lately. They just make a look stand out more, not seem so tame. I think it may be because I was so stressed out with Lady's surgery, and I'm using my nails as an outlet.

What is your favorite finish? Do you find yourself using one over the others, or do you vary your looks? Let me know!
