Now that my hands and nails are clean, it is time to begin the second part of my manicure.
I start by applying one coat of NutraNail's Strengthener with Green Tea and wrapping my edges. I am right-handed, so I always paint my right hand first - I hate trying to paint with my left hand if it is wet. I do my pinky and work my way to my thumb. If I start the other way around, I always end up smudging something.
Then comes the base coat. I've been using SinfulColor's Base Coat for a few months and it's been good to me.
When I'm done with the right hand, I take a brush, dip it into acetone, and clean up the edges.
Sorry, this one's a little blurry! |
I do my left hand.
Once I am ready for the second coat, I wrap the edge of the nail. This leaves a small bead of polish on the tip, which is why I do it first. I apply the second coat and it all blends nice and smoothly. When I'm done with my right hand, I clean up, and move on to my left hand. (I had a hard time getting good pictures of this part. I apologize.)

Now for the top coat. I wrap it over the edge, then apply it to the nail.
This one is a little blurry. (sorry) |
And I'm done! Now I get to relax while my nails dry.
