Side by Side: SinfulColors Vacation Time + Wet n Wild Casting Call

Hi all! Happy Sunday! Did we all enjoy the exciting football playoffs? Chris and I just finished watching the Cowboys, and it was a stressful game, particularly at the beginning. I'd suggested going to the bar, but he decided to stay home because they lost the last time we went to a local bar. Superstitious. Go Cowboys!

Anyway, on to poliiishhh! I decided to compare 2 polishes that looked very similar in the bottle, Vacation Time from SinfulColors and Casting Call from Wet n Wild's Wild Shine line.

SinfulColors Vacation Time + Wet n Wild Casting Call

Vacation Time is a lovely pastel pink creme. The formula was excellent - not thick or runny. The first coat was nearly opaque, and completely opaque with a second. Dry time was fast - coats were dry to the touch just a couple minutes after application.

Casting Call is an orange-leaning pink creme. Again, the formula was good. I had no trouble with application. I achieved full opacity with 2 coats. The brush wasn't too bad. I've had issues with previous Wild Shine brushes - too stiff or too soft, but this one delivered the right amount of polish without flooding my cuticles. Dry time was a little fast as well.

Overall, I really like both colors. They're clearly different once they are on the nail. My favorite thing about both is that they are pretty neutral and are definitely work appropriate.

Do you have (m)any polishes that seem very similar, but are different after you've tried them out? Let me know!
