Wet n Wild: Halloween 2014 Limited Edition Collection: Roadwork

Hi all! Happy Tuesday! I hope you are all having a good week so far. I typically have Monday off, so Tuesday is always my first day back to work. Not too bad, because I get to spend more time with Chris and my girls, even though Chris and I are fighting over the PS4. Just kidding (no, but seriously, we take turns lol).

I have a new color for you for you tonight. I have Roadwork, a dark metallic gray from Wet Wild's 2014 Halloween Collection. I used 2 coats in the photo below.

I loved Roadwork. The formula was excellent. I had absolutely no problems during application. The first coat was pretty much opaque, but I added a second because I wanted it to be a bit darker. As I've said before, the Megalast line comes with the Manicurve Pro brush. Even though it's curved to go with the shape of your cuticle, I had a hard time using it. I usually love this brush, but I just left too wide a gap this time around. I don't get it. Dry time was a little on the slow side.

Overall, I love Roadwork. The only thing I'm pointing out is the name, Roadwork. I mean, sure, I guess the color represents asphalt, but I never associate that word with good memories. Being from LA, any roadwork usually meant an extra 30-60 minutes on the road because traffic just went from bad to horrible. Even in Kansas, where there's usually no traffic, doing any sort of work on the road can disrupt a usually smooth drive.

Do you ever just wonder what people were thinking when they named certain nail polishes? Or is that just me? Let me know!
