Wet n Wild: Halloween 2014 Limited Ediction Collection: Pleasure Pier

Hi all! Happy Sunday! Chris is nervous as he watches his beloved Cowboys against the Packers. Apparently, the Packers are the favorites. Well, I'm hoping for the best, but I'll be ready to comfort Chris if things don't go their way.

I have Pleasure Pier, an electric blue shimmer, from Wet n Wild's Halloween Collection. It doesn't really strike me as a Halloween color. When I think of that day, colors like black, orange, red, yellow, and brown come to mind. I used 2 coats in the picture below.

Wet n Wild Halloween Collection Pleasure Pier

Pleasure Pier had a very good formula, and I had no issues whatsoever. The first coat was a tiny bit sheer, but fully opaque with a second. I was able to control the wide brush a little more this time, which is good, becaus my left nail beds are a little smaller than the right. If I don't make a mess on the left, the right side will definitely be okay. Dry time was pretty fast. I came to this conclusion when I bumped a finger on the edge of the table. I looked at it, and nothing. Not a mark, not a dent.

Overall, I like Pleasure Pier, but I feel that it might be a bit cool for my skin tone. It's bright, stands out, and has a smooth finish. I'm not sure it's office appropriate, but is great for the weekend!

Do you ever feel that certain colors don't match your skin tone 100%? If so, do you wear them as much as colors that do, or do you use them a little less? Let me know!
