Hi all! It's been a little while since I last posted - I apologize. I have a few new swatches, thanks to the sale at Walgreens. SinfulColors polishes were half off -normally $1.99, sale $0.99. I was able to find a few colors that screamed my name, and I am really pleased with them.
First up is Tokyo Pearl, a white polish with a frosty finish. I used three coats in the picture below.
The formula for Tokyo Pear wasn't too difficult to work with. The first coat was a little sheer, but it did build up nicely after three coats. I like this color, but Tokyo Pearl requires careful application. Brush strokes are very visible, and so are any mistakes. As you can see in the picture above, I have some bubbles on my index and middle fingers. I'll just have to apply it better, probably with the brush flat.
Here I have Forget Now, a Mexican pink/fuchsia jelly with purple microglitter.
I had no problems with application. I used three coats, but there is still some VNL. Drying time was average. I'm not the greatest fan of pink polish, but Forget Now is one that I will definitely be using in the future. It's pretty and shiny - too bad summer is over, but maybe I'll get away with bright nails for a day or two.
Here is Endless Blue, a cobalt/Egyptian blue creme.
Okay, I absolutely LOVE Endless Blue. The formula was perfect! It wasn't watery or thick or anything that would give me problems. I don't usually go for blue polishes, but this one just called my name. I used two coats, and drying time was average. I have no complaints about this one.
Last is Under 18, a bright red-leaning-orange shimmery color.
I had no problems with application. I used 2 coats. Under 18 seems like a good fall shade. Drying time was kinda fast. It kind of reminds me of tree leaves, when they're changing color as the season changes from fall to winter.
Overall, I love my SinfulColors haul. I can't wait to use these colors!
Did you take advantage of the SinfulColors sale at Walgreens this last week? Let me know!
