Wet n Wild Megalast: Haze of Love

Hi all! I am so, so, incredibly sorry for not posting! Ever since I started work, I've been going to bed by 9-10pm. I like to get my 8 hours of sleep, especially since I'm waking up at 4:55am to make to the gym. It's been tiring, but great. I am seriously an old lady though. If I'm not in bed by 10:30 at the latest, I get cranky.

Just a little update: Work has been exciting. The best part is when I get to translate for parents who don't speak very much English. It's very rewarding to be able to help them understand what is happening with their children's health.

Anyway, I have a new mani for you. I bought Wet n Wild's Haze of Love from their Megalast line at Walgreens this past week. It is a burgundy creme, and seems to be a great choice for fall. I used 2 coats in the picture below.

As I've stated before, the Megalast line comes with the Manicurve brush, which makes it easier to apply the polish. The formula for Haze of Love was good to work with. It was a tiny bit runny, but completely manageable. It was almost opaque after one coat, but after 2 coats, it was perfect. Dry time was average.

Overall, I really like Haze of Love. It's not too crazy and doesn't attract unwanted attention. It's very office-friendly. I also love how it matches my skin tone.

I've also found that my manicure routine has improved significantly. I don't have to do much cleanup these days, unless I'm using a Nina Ultra Pro polish - the brushes are too wide. I can apply my polish with a clean line near my cuticle. My only issue is that sometimes I don't get close enough, so the gap between my polish line and cuticle is a little too wide, but I am working on it.

Do you have to do a lot of cleanup after doing your nails? Or have you perfected your application after a lot of practice? Let me know!
