Here is Under 18 once again. My nails are a bit shorter than the last time I used it.
I absolutely adore Under 18! It's a red-leaning-orange shimmery color. It reminds me a little bit of FingerPaints Copper Elements. I realize it's not the same color, but I get the same feel from both: that fall is here and the color of the leaves is changing. I liked working with the formula - I had no issues during application.
As nice as this color is, I had to do something a little different, even if it was just one accent nail. I used Wet n Wild Black Creme again. I don't know why, but I'm going through a little phase, and I feel that all colors look best with black right now. I applied three tiny strips of painters tape on my ring fingers and one coat of Black Creme. I love the little rays.
Macro: it's a teensy bit blurry! |
It's simple, nothing particularly creative, but I appreciate being able to do even a little bit of nail art these days. As I've said before, I get tired and cranky early in the evening lol. Also, you can see the weird shape of my nail. My left ring fingernail grows towards the right, as you can see here, so it's never even. It looks like that all the time, even if I do try to file it evenly. Genes. Sigh.
Do you have any nails that seem to be on their own path? Or were you lucky enough to be blessed with nails that grow evenly? Let me know!
