Through the Grapevine + Matte Me Crazy

Hi all! I decided to try something a little different for tonight's post. My main color was Through the Grapevine by Wet n Wild from the Megalast line. I have used this color before, and it is one I really love.

These are the nail polishes I used for tonight's look.

Lexington Lilac, Through the Grapevine, Pink Bling, Matte Me Crazy

I used 2 coats of Through the Grapevine. On my accent nails, I applied painters tape and a coat of NYC Lexington Lilac. I followed this with a coat of NYC Pink Bling, a clear base with pink and silver glitter.

NYC Matte Me Crazy is the only matte top coat I've ever used, so I can't compare it to other top coats, but I do like it. It's very inexpensive ($1.99), and dries to a satin-like finish.

Overall, I am pleased with the final result. I'm especially pleased with Pink Bling, since I can use that with my cremes and jellies to give my nails a slightly different look.
