Wet n Wild: Wild Shine Summer Festival Collection - Gyp-Sea Green

Hi all! I have something for you tonight. Wet n Wild released a limited edition collection, Wild Shine Summer Festival. I'd already used Spitfire and Ferris-Wheel Romance, and tonight I decided to use Gyp-Sea Green.

Gyp-Sea Green is a mountain meadow/keppel jelly.

Wet n Wild: Wild Shine Summer Festival Collection - Gyp-Sea Green

The formula for Gyp-Sea Green was somewhat milky. I didn't have too much trouble during application, but it was extremely sheer. The first coat didn't really look like much of a coat, so I added 3 more coats to achieve any sort of opacity. Four coats total, and I still have VNL, but nothing exaggerated. Dry time was slow; I had to wait a little longer in between coats. As for the brush, I wasn't too fond of it. It was too soft, and it didn't seem to hold very much polish.

Overall, I'm not sure if I'll want to use Gyp-Sea Green again, certainly not by itself. Perhaps next time I'll do a jelly sandwich (something I learned from Nouveau Cheap). I think 4 coats, plus drying time in between, is too much, but if I add a coat of glitter polish, it'll speed up the drying process, and I won't need as many coats.

Do you have any polishes that require more than 3 coats to achieve opacity? Do you use them regularly? Let me know!
