Hi all! I have a something new for you. A while back, I bought a Wet n Wild Fast Dry color, Buffy the Violet Slayer. I have loved Buffy the Vampire Slayer for a very, very long time, and I had to have this nail polish.
Buffy the Violet Slayer is a purple/violet shade with (micro?)shimmer. I thought it appropriate to add the "B" from the BtVS logo using French White Creme from the Wet n Wild Wild Shine line. It's so far to the left because I thought I wouldn't have enough room...lol.
I found Buffy the Violet Slayer to be manageable. It was similar to SaGreen the Teenage Witch. The first coat was a little patchy, but the second coat was opaque and smooth. The brush was tapered, but I wasn't too fond of it. Dry time was average.
Here is a picture of this color by itself.
As you can see, the color in the pictures above looks to be a little bluish. This is actually pretty inaccurate, as BtVS is definitely purple, and not blurple. I thought that investing in a daylight bulb would be the solution to the color problems in my pictures. Before the daylight bulb, I felt that I constantly had to choose between the accuracy of the nail polish color vs my skin tone. It bums me out a little. I hope I can learn how to do fix this in the future.
Do you have to make (m)any changes to your pictures after they've been taken? Or have you figured out to make the best use of your light source and how to properly angle your camera? Let me know!
